Telemedicine and Internet technology has pushed back the traditional boundaries of time and geography, allowing health-care to be delivered any time, anywhere, throughout the world!

Formal Online Consultations
offer local doctors and their patients the experience and knowledge of eye cancer specialists. Consider that an online consultation may save some of your patients the time and expense which comes with hundreds or thousands of miles of travel, hotel stays, and out-of network services.

Right now Dr. Finger offers online [Doctor to Doctor] consultations right from this web site. In most cases, the Initial Consultation will be sufficient. In more complicated cases, a second, Follow-up Consultation may be necessary. He will spend his time reviewing your information and send you a written report. The medical information sent to Dr. Finger on the internet is not privacy protected.

Though we are sure that many patients would like to send their own information, it is not allowed. This is because a trained professional must gather appropriate and accurate information and imaging studies for review. Therefore, only physicians may submit information for consultation, and all physicians (in the United States of America) will be called for verification of their identity for proof of consultation request.

Dr. Finger reserves the right to refuse giving an opinion in any specific case. In situations where the information is not adequate, or an evaluation cannot be rendered based upon the materials submitted, Dr. Finger may request to see the patient in person. Lastly, medical-legal cases may not be submitted to this service. For more information or if you do not hear from him within 24 hours, contact Dr. Finger's office 212-832-8170 or e-mail him at pfinger@eyecancer.com
